
A beautifully crafted gold and diamond cross which works both as a pendant and as a brooch. The handmade gold body features scroll motifs and pieced sections which help create the beautiful elaborate form. To the centre of the cross sits six old mine cut diamonds of J/K colour and VS-SI clarity, totalling 0.75 carat. To the rear sits a hinged concealed grooved round loop along with a pin with cone cap fittings. The piece was made in the first half of the 20th century, with the craftsmanship some of the finest we have seen.
Marked - unmarked however tests as 18 karat yellow gold
