A really striking mid century brooch pin with brutalist elements dating to the mid 20th century. This pin is crafted from 14 karat yellow gold and consists of gold tubes interspersed with pieces of cabochon turquoise and brilliant cut diamonds. The stones and gold tubing are 'stepped' giving the brooch a very bold and three dimensional look, meaning it sits out from the garment. The pin to the rear has a roller catch fitting for added security when being worn. This very unusual brooch is a great example of the mid century and brutalist jewellery produced from the 1960s through to the 1980s.
