A fine Victorian era 14kt yellow gold, diamond, and seed pearl lavalier brooch necklace. This exceptional 19th century piece features seed pearls and a central old cut 0.15ct diamond on the main brooch pin, with a detachable bail which can be added to transform it into a pendant necklace. Stamped 14kt this piece is likely to have originated in the United States and was very likely to have been given as a love token.
The piece hangs from a relatively modern 14kt fine box chain which complements the pendant well.
