A beautifully crafted 22 karat yellow gold box, with diamond push closure. The box which has been handcrafted in the early 20th century features a 0.05 carat diamond push closure and an incredibly well made 'invisible' hinge to the rear. The box was likely originally manufactured to be a 'pill box', however could be used to house small pieces of jewellery such as stud earrings, fine chains, or simply be placed among a collection of gold boxes. A beautifully weighty piece which defies the saying 'all that glitters isn't gold' because in this case, it is!
