An early English oak dresser of small proportions with three levels of plate rails. The dresser sits atop of two cabriole legs at the front and to the back two square legs which sit flush with the wall. The two front drawers each have a pair of simple round brass drawer pulls which are likely later replacements for the originals. The frieze to the top of the dresser has been carved in a gothic style motif which is a lovely touch to the otherwise simple 18th century piece. With such a lovely patina this piece is ready to be placed in a farm style kitchen or in a living room to display a fine collection of antique porcelain plates.
