They feature on page 425 and 426 of the auction catalogue and in the year 2000 for this particular auction had an estimate of $10,000-$15,000 US Dollars. Arne Schlesch was one of the finest dealers of antique Scandinavian furniture and decorator pieces and was based in Manhattan's Upper East Side. Upon his retirement he held an auction with Sotheby's New York and sold his vast collection which spanned his five story New York premises.
