An early 20th Century set of .875 silver tea glass holders featuring two bogatyrs brandishing a sword and a club. They are engraved with the initials "KD" and "BD" and a Russian phrase that translates to "[The] Bogatyrs' outpost." The holders feature large handles detailed with chamomile flowers, the national flower of Russia. The unidentified maker's mark is the Cyrillic letters for "S.B.". The date range for production of this set is between 1908 and 1926 according to the hallmarks present on the pieces. The '84' Zolotnik purity mark signifies that each piece is of 0.875 parts pure silver. The hallmarks on the piece also allow us to know the set was made in Moscow, the Russian capital. The set is much in the taste of the Russian constructivist movement of the early 20th Century.

To clarify, a bogatyr or vityaz is a stock character in medieval East Slavic regions, akin to a Western European knight-errant.
