A rare Sabino art glass vase of birds in flight. The vase is made from black glass and features gilded birds in flight. This unusual piece dates to the 1920s and was manufactured in Paris, France. Sabino, a contemporary of Lalique, was known for his opalescent glass creations, however this black piece is exceedingly rare. Not only is this an unusual style for Sabino, it is also an unusual size, being 28cm in width and 24cm in height, which is far larger than most of his creations. Hand signed to the underside, this incredible vase is a true collectors piece.
