A wonderful antique posy ring set with a single Akoya pearl and nine old European cut diamonds. The petite ring is hand crafted from 18 karat yellow and white gold and centres on a single Akoya cultured pearl that has been surrounded by diamonds. The nine old European cut diamonds that surround the pearl are all of G/I colour and VS-SI clarity totalling 1.80 carat. The band whilst likely a later replacement is fine and has a centre groove which extends around the entire shank along with two 'sizing' balls on the inside (which can be removed if desired). A really sweet and desirable ring, likely from the Art Deco period and in lovely condition for its age.
