The piece is grain set with forty eight 1.25mm brilliant cut pink sapphires (0.4ct total), claw set with twenty one 1.25-2mm brilliant cut apatites (0.5ct total), eleven 2.5mm (0.06ct) brilliant cut, good make G/H colour VS/SI clarity diamonds, one 3.00mm (0.10ct) brilliant cut, good make G/H Colour VS/SI clarity diamond, bead set with four hundred and forty two 1-1.5mm brilliant cut good blue ceylon type sapphires (3.4ct total), thirty nine 1mm (0.005ct) brilliant cut, good make G/H colour VS/SI clarity diamonds on articulated tentacles with three 18.00mm – 24.00mm natural keshi pearls.
The top setting contains one 32.72mm x 16.30mm x 15.23 natural south sea keshi pearl weighing 6.74 grams.
The pendant is entirely detachable and can be worn as a brooch which has a double pin to the rear and tube style catch.
