The central oval cabochon opal is a solid Lightning Ridge opal from Australia and is 'dark grey with broad pattern blue green orange flash'. There is a halo of brilliant cut diamonds around the opal which weigh an estimated 1.00 carat in total. The shank of the ring is quite simple and therefore can be sized fairly easily.
