An excellent example of a circa 1940s gold tank bracelet. This piece is crafted from 14 karat yellow gold and is formed with seven rows of hollow faceted gold links, which form the 'tread' like bracelet. Tank bracelets were referred to as being similar to the tread on military tanks, and have a machinist aesthetic, typical of the Art Deco and Retro periods. This particular bracelet has been beautifully made and is in lovely condition, with a strong secure tongue and box clasp.
