Crafted from 18 karat yellow gold this pair of cufflinks which have been set with citrines and diamonds were made by American jeweller William Ruser. The cufflinks feature to one side of each a cushion cut citrine and two round brilliant cut diamonds which in the way they have been set forms a gremlin type face. The other side of the 'link' is a simple plain yellow gold rectangle which has been highly polished. The pair are signed 'Ruser' for the American jeweller William Ruser who was manufacturing pieces between 1947 and 1969. Primarily known for his use of unusual shaped freshwater pearls, Ruser made whimsical jewellery which was adored by his patrons, and this pair of cufflinks are a beautiful example of his unique style.
