A very unusual handmade ring from the Retro period of the mid 20th century. The asymmetric ring centres on three brilliant cut aquamarines running north south which are surrounded by 18 brilliant cut rubies set in rose gold. One shoulder of the ring is simply set with two baguette cut diamonds while the other is pave set with fourteen brilliant cut diamonds accented by a further four baguette cut diamonds, all of H colour and SI clarity. The jeweller has skilfully used the colour difference in the rose gold and white gold to accent the diamonds and rubies effectively. A stunning ring which is sure to be a truly unique piece.
