
An impressive 18 karat yellow gold and diamond set plaque brooch pendant. The symmetrical Art Deco style piece has been crafted to be worn as a brooch or with the assistance of a fine chain can become a necklace pendant. The central diamond is oval cut and of H colour and VS clarity, weighing 0.40 carat. It is surrounded by baguette cut and brilliant cut diamonds set in the Art Deco taste and all of G colour and VS clarity. To the rear the piece has a brooch pin fitting with roller catch clasp and concealed loops to enable a fine chain to be slipped through, transforming the piece into a necklace. The way the piece has been crafted allows the pin to sit flat on the chest when a necklace due to the rear hardware being recessed into the pin, a clever design and meaning it is comfortable to wear.
