A really intricate and beautifully crafted fob seal pendant from the Victorian period. The piece is crafted from 14 karat yellow gold however is unmarked. The hollow pendant is crafted as a pair of griffins which sit above an oval gold disc engraved with initials that read 'RWA', likely the monogram of the original owner. The ring to the top is formed by a pair of connected dolphins from which the griffin seal sits below. The fob is well worn, with some of the pattern in sections worn back. The dolphin ring to the top has worn through the gold slightly to one side, however these small losses are commensurate with age and do not detract from the beauty of this ornate piece.
