An early example of Fornasetti's work titled 'Mani Con Farfalle' or Hands With Butterflies. Made through collaboration with the 'S.A.L.I.R.' Studio Ars Labor Riunite in Italy after he was expelled from the Brera Art Academy for insubordination.
Today it is most common to see Fornasetti's style in fashion and room accessoriessuch as scarves, ties, lamps, furniture, china plates and tables. The style for which he is famous is reminiscent of Greek and Roman architecture, by which he was heavily influenced.
