A fine Victorian era pin in the form of a dragonfly. The piece is constructed out of 9 karat rose gold which has a rich patina that has been set with Ceylon sapphires, Thai rubies and rose cut diamonds. The head of the dragonfly is set with a single cabochon cut opal that has been bead set. To the rear is a hinged pin and hook clasp along with a safety chain and pin which is typical in pieces of this age. A really beautiful 19th century pin which has been beautifully crafted.
