French Art Deco Walnut Dining Table

A French Art Deco, circular dining table in walnut. The tapered and fluted legs are indicative of works from the 1920s by designers like Paul Fallot with carved foliage framed in a square above each leg, perhaps a modern take on the rosettes of the Louis XVI period. Although this was once an extendable table with fold-out legs underneath, the center extension is missing. The legs are mounted to the table top via wooden screws and are detachable for easy transport and storage.

Dimensions: 128cm D x 73cm H

Condition: Evidence of wood borers in the legs. Minor nicks and scuffs commensurate with age and use.
