This group of four diamond and mabe pearl brooches are mounted in white gold and were formerly in the collection of the Counts of Hardenberg. Crafted from 14 karat white gold, each brooch pin is set with a single white mabe pearl that measures approximately 15mm and is surrounded by a mixture of round and brilliant cut diamonds. Each of the diamonds are estimated to be of G colour and VS-SI clarity totalling 128 pieces and 4.05 carat. To the rear of each of the brooches is a hinged pin with safety catch, with one of the brooches featuring a different catch to the others. The pieces whilst not antique, are likely from the 1950s and were most probably crafted in Germany. In really lovely order we could see these pinned as a cluster to a heavy black woollen coat in winter with great effect.
