This multi strand rice pearl bracelet with a diamond set clasp was formerly in the collection of the Counts of Hardenberg. The bracelet comprises of 10 strands of rice pearls which terminate with a diamond and mabe pearl set clasp. The clasp, crafted from 14 karat white gold, has been set with a central mabe pearl and a mixture of round brilliant cut and single cut diamonds. Each of the diamonds are estimated to be of G colour and VS clarity totalling 36 pieces and 0.98 carat. This clasp features a concealed tongue and box clasp with a clever integrated safety catch that works from the rear. The bracelet while not a true antique, likely was manufactured in Germany during the mid 20th Century, and is in lovely condition for its age. A very lovely cocktail bracelet which would be right at home on Audrey Hepburn's arm in Breakfast at Tiffany's.
