Victorian 14kt Yellow Gold Cufflinks

Description
Crafted from 14 karat yellow gold, these cufflinks date to the late Victorian period and are set with small diamonds. The cufflinks were likely made in the United States which is where they were sourced, however a very small maker's mark is rubbed and unfortunately illegible meaning it is difficult to be sure of their origin. To each side of each of the cufflinks is an oval 'plaque', one of which is plain polished gold while the other has ornate repousse detailing with a single diamond set within a star motif. The pair present in very good antique condition with only the minor abrasions that come standard with age and use. A delightful pair of antique cufflinks which would make a lovely gift for a groom or a wonderful coming of age present.
Marked - '14K' and another small rubbed mark likely for a maker
Measure - 1.5cm x 1.1cm (repousse plaque)
