Retro Period, 14kt Gold, Ruby and Diamond Cocktail Earrings

A wonderful pair of mid century 14 karat gold, ruby and diamond screw back earrings. The two tone earrings comprise of marquise cut rubies which are accented with single cut diamonds which flow down the ear diagonally. The rubies and diamonds are set in rows and take the form of bands and have a very retro 'cocktail' aesthetic to them. The single cut diamonds are in rhodium plated settings, are all of H/I colour and SI-P1 clarity totalling 0.15 carat. The rubies are classed as bright mid pinkish red and comprise of 20 pieces totalling 3.60 carat. Finished with a 'U' shaped screw back fitting the pair are a lovely size and sit nicely on the ear.
