18kt Yellow Gold & Sapphire Art Deco Style Cufflinks

This pair of vintage cufflinks have been crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and are each set with blue sapphires. The centre of each cufflink 'front' features five channel set blue carre cut sapphires which are a beautiful deep blue and are well matched. To each side of the sapphires the gold steps down and tapers, giving a ribbed, stepped effect. The whaletail backings are satin finished and are both working well and are secure. The cufflinks whilst likely only 30 or 40 years old could be described as being in the Art Deco style. A smart addition to a dress shirt and lovely for a black tie gala.
