A wonderful bronze Indian figure of Krishna likely dating to the 17th century. The figure depicts the God kneeling forward with a bag in his hands. The figure sits upon a round pierced bronze base and retains a rich aged patina over the whole piece. Krishna is a major deity in Hinduism and is the son of Devaki and Vasudeva. A beautifully aged and authentic piece of Indian history.
