This ruby and diamond ring has been set in 18 karat rose gold and is of recent manufacture. The central 'mixed oval' cut ruby is Thai in origin and measures 2.44 carat. It should be noted this particular type of ruby is from a source that is now depleted in Thailand, and can no longer be sourced. Two old European cut diamonds flank the ruby, each set in six claw platinum mounts and are of G/H colour and SI1-SI2 clarity totalling 0.66 carat. The ring whilst of no great age has been handcrafted and is of exceptional quality, housing the vintage and antique stones it has been set with. The piece is only hallmarked for the purity of the metals it has been manufactured with, so it is unclear where it was manufactured. This is one of our best ruby rings and with the addition of a fine diamond and gold band could be a beautiful bridal suite.
