H. Stern 18kt White Gold & Diamond 'Metropolis' Bracelet

This rather unusual bracelet was manufactured in Italy and retailed by famed Brazilian jewellery firm, H Stern. The flexible bracelet is crafted from satin finished 18 karat white gold 'square' and 'bar' type links which are articulated and allow the bracelet to move freely on the arm. These links have been grain set with 142 round brilliant cut diamonds which are each of H colour and VS-SI clarity totalling 0.71 carat. The clasp of the bracelet has been beautifully crafted and is integrated into the design, forming another of the links of the bracelet. This folding type clasp is working well and has a snap closure which is secure. To the rear of the bracelet is a single square cut blue sapphire that has been rub-over set and is 'secret' so to speak, as it is only visible for the wearer. The piece has Italian hallmarks but also a retailing hallmark for H Stern, the well known Brazilian jewellery firm. This particular design is said to be known as 'Metropolis' and likely dates to the first part of the 21st Century. A really unusual design, this bracelet is a piece which you are unlikely to see on the wrist of anyone else.
