Old Cut Diamond Trinity Ring

This diamond ring has been mounted in an 18 karat yellow gold setting reminiscent of designs dating back to the 19th century. The cast and hand finished mount has been set from east to west with three old European cuts, centring on a stone of F/G colour and VS1 clarity weighing 0.82 carat. The central diamond is flanked by a pair of old cut stones each of G colour and SI1 clarity totalling 0.62 carat. There are a further four single cut stones mounted between the larger diamonds which add to the charm of the ring. In total the piece is mounted with approximately 1.47 carat of diamonds. Whilst this piece is in the antique style its manufacture likely only dates to the last 40 or 50 years. It should be noted that one of the single cuts in this ring is much darker in colour than the other 3, however this doesn't detract from the piece and only adds to its character. A really lovely ring set with quality diamonds which could be purposed as an engagement ring with ease.
