Description
Whilst this ring doesn't have a great deal of age associated with it, the diamonds which are set within it have been repurposed from an older piece of jewellery. The nine stones have been set in an 18 karat yellow gold and platinum setting which is typically referred to as a 'daisy' ring. The central diamond is an old European cut diamond which is graded as being of J/K colour and VS clarity totalling 1.00 carat, surrounded by 8 old mine cut diamonds graded as being J to M in colour and VS to SI clarity which together weigh an additional 2.24 carat. In total the diamonds in the ring total approximately 3.24 carat. The ring is unsigned for a maker, however has fairly contemporary marks for 18 karat gold and platinum leading us to believe its manufacture is recent. This would make a truly beautiful engagement ring, and with the addition of a custom made band for either side, a very special wedding set.
