Art Deco 1.55ct Diamond Solitaire Ring

This delightful Art Deco ring appears to be in exactly the same condition today as when it started life nearly 100 years ago. The handmade 18 karat white gold ring has been set with a single old European cut diamond that is graded as being K colour and VS1 clarity weighing 1.55 carat. This central stone has been four claw set and sits atop an ornate filigree gallery with tapered shoulders. The ring is marked simply for manufacture from 18 karat gold, however does not present with a maker's mark meaning its exact origin is indeterminable. The ring has been fitted with a 'sizer' ring clip which reduces the size of the ring without making any permanent changes, and is also removable. In very fine condition this would make for an exceedingly nice engagement ring for a bride who wants a point of difference.
