This pair of hefty cufflinks have been crafted from 18 karat yellow gold and are set with small emeralds. One side of each cufflink takes the form of a barrel type shape with a ribbed surface and fine gold wire twisted around the edges. To each side of the barrels are a small rub-over set cabochon emerald which have a lovely rich green tone. The alternate ends of the barrels feature a folding 't bar' closure allowing the links to be put on with ease. The pair are unsigned for a maker, however likely originated in the United States in the second half of the 20th Century. In very good vintage condition the pair would be a very lovely addition to a dress shirt or tuxedo.
