Mid Century, 18kt Gold, Swedish 'Gate Link' Bracelet

 

This gate link bracelet was made in the mid 20th Century out of 18 karat yellow gold. The hefty bracelet was crafted in 1971 per the date mark on its clasp and bears a gold hallmark for Sweden. The bracelet is in the 'gate link' style which has been popular since the turn of the 20th Century. The piece features a snug fitting tongue and box clasp which is integrated into the design of the piece and as such is non intrusive to the overall look. To each side of the clasp are a figure of eight safety catch for added security for the wearer. This bracelet is sure to be a regular favourite which could be worn daily with ease and lends itself to stacking extremely well.

Marked - '18K' for gold purity and 'V9' for the year 1971 along with Swedish marks
