Crafted from 18 karat yellow gold this pair of nautical themed cufflinks were made by French jeweller Georges L'Enfant. The solid gold pair of dumbell style links feature a naturalistic gold shell to each side, one larger than the other. Each of the shells has been patterned to mimic their surface when found in nature. Hallmarked for manufacture by Parisian jeweller and goldworker, Georges L'Enfant, the cufflinks are beautifully crafted and are a testament to the beautiful craftsmanship of Georges and his son Jacques. The pair likely date to the second half of the 20th Century, circa 1960, and are in lovely condition, ready for wear by a 21st Century gentleman.
