Description

An Art Deco sideboard by Paul Graindorge, earning a gold medal at the Nantes National Exhibition 1924. The angular cabinet, topped with mottled marble slabs, is constructed with teak and veneered with rich rosewood panels, featuring banding of satinwood and ebony on the front doors. The piece has undergone a deep restoration in-house (May 2025), including a replacement of the centre, mirrored door, as well as the addition of era sympathetic handles.The backing of the piece bears two large stamps denoting the maker's name and workshop location, and the gold medal at the national exhibition of Nante in 1924.
