A late 19th century, Austrian, amethyst glass and ormolu mounted urn with handles. The mounts where the handles are attached depict a 'Green Man' connected by grape leaves. The amethyst glass has been finely cut with diamond facets. This particular urn would have originally graced a fine home in Continental Europe.
Stamped to footrim 'Made in Austria'.
