This rather delightful pair of platinum and diamond earrings date to the Art Deco period and have been made by hand. The stud type earrings have a platinum thread and screw back, meaning when they are on the ear they are extremely secure. The top of the earrings each feature a single Old European cut diamond that is of J/K colour and P1 clarity. From the studs drop five more diamonds, comprising four Old European cut and one marquise cut stone of J/K colour and P1 clarity to each earring. At the very bottom of each earring is a platinum disc which has been grain set with a further seven Old European cut diamonds again of J/K colour and P1 clarity. The edges of the earrings have been finished with a very fine milgrain finish which is true to the period. A gorgeous example of platinum and diamond Art Deco jewellery which is just as wearable today as the 1930s.
