This really charming antique bangle dates to the Victorian period and was most likely made in the United Kingdom. Crafted from 15 karat yellow gold the centre front of the oval bangle is set with 17 graduated white seed pearls which are flanked by ornate scrollwork. The bangle is hinged and terminates with a tongue and box clasp which is working well and secure. There is provision for a safety chain to be attached should you desire, however the original is no longer present and has been lost with time. Because of the gold purity of the bangle we can fairly safely say that it originated in England, likely during the 1870s, the height of the Victorian period. A gorgeous antique bangle in and in lovely condition for a piece which is 150 years of age.
