This ring whilst relatively modern in manufacture has been crafted using old European cut diamonds and is in the antique taste. The platinum setting has been mounted with five old European cut diamonds in the taste of a 'London Bridge' ring. The diamonds which range from G to J in colour and from VS1 to I1 in clarity total 2.03 carat. Because of the range of colour and clarity in the stones it is likely that the stones have been pulled from various pieces of antique jewellery and combined to make this ring of recent manufacture. The piece presents in very good order and other than one of the stones having a slight flea bite to the girdle there are no other apparent areas of note and is ready for everyday wear. Whilst this ring utilises old diamonds it however could be purposed beautifully as a modern day engagement ring for a bride who doesn't necessarily want a solitaire stone.
