An exceptional Art Nouveau era brooch pendant presented in its original velvet box. The central brooch pendant is crafted from 18 karat yellow gold which has been silver topper and set with brilliant old cut diamonds. There is a central articulated drop to the piece which contains a single natural cultured pearl accented with an old cut diamond. The diamonds in the piece are all of H colour and SI-P2 clarity, totalling approximately 2.00 carats. Whilst the detachable brooch brooch pendant is unmarked, given the box it is presented in and their aesthetics of the piece it is likely to be French in origin, circa 1910. The chain that forms the necklace we believe is a later replacement with the original likely to have broken at some stage in its history. An absolutely incredible and versatile piece of Art Nouveau jewellery which encompasses the beauty of the period so well.
