Description

A black lacquered scent case by Leuchers of London, with brass hardware, and featuring a banded agate centrepiece. The interior is lined with a rich purple velvet, and contains four cut glass scent bottles, with brass lids and glass stoppers. The brass lids are monogrammed 'ETC', and an eye shaped shield.

Leuchers was renowned for crafting of dressing cases, established in 1794 the business was family owned until 1888, when it was purchased by Asprey. In 1837, the same year as Queen Victoria came to the throne, the firm was awarded the Royal Warrant for their supply of dressing cases to the royal family.

Dimensions: 15cm W x 15cm L x 13cm H

Condition: Some small amounts of damage, and the key is unfortunately unaccounted for.
