Description

This cased crystal footed urn was made in Poland in the second half of the 20th Century. The clear crystal urn has been cased in cobalt blue to the top half and features a scalloped rim to the open edge. The scalloped cut crystal rim sits above a swag type motif which has been cut into the blue crystal to reveal the clear underbody. The footing of the vase is a square plain crystal base which is topped with a sphere like faceted orb that connects the urn to the footing. In exceptionally good condition the piece is a great example of cobalt 'flash cut' crystal and is ready for placement.
