Description
This charming and rather large tankard was made in England in the early 19th century. The straight sided tankard has been richly decorated with an array of blossoms and panels featuring pagodas reminiscent of the Blue Willow pattern. The oversized tankard has been decorated with a transfer print evidenced in the area around the handle where some of the pattern overlaps. The tankard presents in good antique condition with the usual crazing and minor glaze chipping, however has no cracks and no chips to the body. A really gorgeous piece of antique blue and white porcelain which would be right at home amongst a blue and white grouping on a kitchen dresser.
