Czech Art Deco Coffee Pot in 800 Purity Silver

Description
We love a good piece of Art Deco silver, and this coffee pot from the 1920s is an exceptional example. The pot is marked to the underside with the Czechoslovakian 800 purity silver mark for large articles which was used between 1921 and 1929, giving us an eight year period in which it was manufactured. The elegant octagonal body of the pot is slightly tapered and features a die rolled vegetable motif border toward the top. Unfortunately we have been unable to identify the maker's mark 'JH' which is stamped alongside the Czechoslovakian silver mark, with many European silver makers marks not well documented. We have recently had this particular piece cleaned and polished by our silversmith and it is ready for its new 21st century life at a breakfast table.
