This exquisite Art Deco stylised flower pin was likely made in the 1920s at the height of the Deco period. The 18 karat gold pin has been handcrafted from yellow and white gold and then set with old European cut diamonds. The central point of the flower features a brilliant old cut diamond of approximately 0.30 carat that is then surrounded by a further eight small old cut diamonds. The petals of the flower are stylistically twisted in an Art Deco swirl, typically of the era. The eleven petals are set with 121 old cut diamonds. Each of the stones in this piece are classed as H/I/J colour and SI - P2 clarity, totalling 2.51 carat. To the rear the piece features a single hinged pin and roller clasp fitting which is working well and is secure.
