This rather beautiful art deco ring was made in France likely in the 1930s and features old European cut and rose cut diamonds all set in a handmade platinum mount. The central diamond in the ring is a millegrain set old European cut stone of G colour and VS clarity weighing an approximate 0.70 carat. Flanking this central stone are two further old European cut diamonds which each weigh 0.15 carat and are each of G colour and SI clarity. The balance of the diamonds in the ring are rose cut stones which are each of G colour and SI clarity, and combined with the three larger stones have a weight of 1.14 carat. The back of the rear of the shank is hallmarked with a French platinum purity mark and a rubbed, unidentified makers mark.
