Retro Period, Platinum, Diamond and Emerald Cocktail Ring

A beautifully crafted cocktail ring from the Retro Period of the 20th Century. This piece is hand crafted from platinum, centering on a baguette cut emerald weighing 1.15 carat in a rub-over setting. Surrounding this emerald is a sea of single cut and baguette cut diamonds of H/I and K colour, and VS to P1 clarity, which have been set in a Retro style asymmetric 'swirl'. The platinum underside (gallery) of the ring is finely pierced almost appearing to mimic lacework. A really stunning dress ring which has aged beautifully and represents a time of cocktail parties and black tie balls.
