Description
We don't often get complete sets of napkin rings so this particular listing is a pleasure to have in our collection. The boxed set of six napkin rings have been crafted from sterling silver and are hallmarked for London manufacture in 1921. The crisply marked set are each hallmarked for manufacture by the prominent maker Robert Pringle & Sons who were active in the 19th and early 20th century. The edges of the rings have a beaded rim and have beautiful engraved floral detailing throughout. To the centre front of each ring is a cartouche hand engraved with the monogram 'WSL', and to the rear above the hallmarks each is hand engraved from a number from 1 to 6. The set are presented in their original fitted box which is velvet and silk lined, and are each in very good condition for their age.
