A beautifully textured 14 karat gold 'fern' style brooch pin set with diamonds. The tapered and textured fern is centrally set with a single semi modern brilliant cut diamond of G colour and P1 clarity weighing 0.60 carat. This central diamond is supported by a surrounding 48 brilliant and single cut diamonds all of H colour and SI to P2 clarity totalling 1.60 carat. The manufacture and texture of the brooch is reminiscent of the work by Italian jeweller Buccellati however due to this pin being crafted from 14 karat gold we can safely assume its origin is American. It should be noted that there is a slight chip and open pique on the girdle of the central diamond, however this is not visible to the naked eye. A beautiful bold pin which could also be adapted to become a lovely pendant.
