We love a big chunky old European cut diamond, and this ring is set with an exceptional example. The contemporary ring mount has been crafted in 14 karat yellow gold and set centrally with a 3.30 carat old European cut diamond of M colour and VVS1 clarity which has an accompanying GIA certificate. The ring's central diamond has been eight claw set and features a four claw set modern brilliant cut diamond on each shoulder graded as H/I colour and VS-SI clarity totalling 0.13 carat together. Whilst the ring is of contemporary manufacture it is most likely that the central diamond has been repurposed from an older piece of jewellery from the early part of the 20th century. The images show the stone as being more grey in colour than it shows in real life, and it must be noted that it fronts up much nicer in person. The current ring size of this piece is quite large, however it can be reduced in size quite dramatically if required due to the simplicity of the band. A knockout old European cut diamond that could be worn every day with such ease.
