Crafted during the mid 20th century this bracelet is reminiscent of the designs produced by Scandinavian silversmiths in the 1960s and 1970s. The unmarked bracelet has been tested as sterling silver, is articulated, and terminates with a tongue and box clasp and attached safety chain. Whilst unmarked the bracelet could be inspired by some of the designs coming out of Georg Jensen in the mid to late 20th century or a silversmith like Hans Hansen or Bent Knudsen from the same era. The interesting design is almost reminiscent of vertebrae or the skeletal system and is undeniably modernist in style. In lovely condition and with a great amount of weight this piece would be a beautiful addition to a silver jewellery collection.
